Abstract

Thre-cup anemometer was used to measure wide speed at 24 inches above ground surface of hill-evergreen forest at Kong- Ma Watershed Research Station; Doi Pui Chiengmai, elevation 1350 meters from mean sea level. The wind speed was found averaging annually 13.8 kilometers pre hour, with the range of monthly values of 9.1 to 18.2 kilometers pre hour. Starnd heights surrounding the climatic station influenced the wide speed especially in winter as well as wet season
