Abstract

The efficiency of Stemona collinsae extract against various stages of Boophilus microplus was investigated under laboratory condition and in animals. The most effective dose was at 50% concentration. The mortalities found in seed ticks and engorged adult ticks at 24 hours were 100 % and 93.33 %, respectively. No side effect of calves during the experiments.
