Abstract

The study of the medicinal plants in wasted areas of Muang District, Nonthaburi Province has been undertaken from October, 1989 to July, 1990. The collections were identified by basing on the literatures and comparing with the herbarium specimens in the Forest Herbarium, Royal Forest Department (BKF) and the Herbarium of Department of Agriculture (BK). The amount of 52 families, 138 species of medicinal plants are recored. The botanical names, local names, the habit, the habitat and the therapeutic properties of plants are also reported.
