Abstract

Fortynine ethanol crude extracts from 44 plan species were tested for the indecticidal activity on third instar diamondback moth larvae under laboratory conditions. Three plant extracts (20 mg/ml conc.) showed high insecticidal activity (100% mortality of larvae):Aannona muricata seeds, Annona squamosa seeds and Stemona collinsae roots .
