Abstract

The three colours of underwater luring lamp, white, green and blue were used at Pe Bay, Rayong Province and Sriracha Bay, Chonburi Provinc. The luring lamps were set at 5 meters depth while the water depth was about 15-20 meters. The experiments were conducted between February to September 1984 during the dark moon night. The results were analysed by using Analysis of variance by Factorial experiment in Randomized Design. It was shown that there was no statistical difference between the light when using for luring long finned squid. All of the colours of under-water lamp were suitable for loligo with highly significant for medium size loligo.
