This is a study of the levels of copper and iron in 1,500 serum samples of dairy cows from Nong-Pho Dairy Cow Cooperative Center in Rajburi. The blood samples were collected during August, 1982, to February, 1983, and divided into 5 groups according to age. In each age group of serum samples were also divided according to the duration of gestation. The results the study are that the average levels of copper and iron in the serum samples are between 0.72-1.0 ppm and 3.25-5.05 ppm, respectively. There is no significant statistical differences in the average levels of minerals being studied in dairy cows in the early and late periods of gestation in each age group.
