การพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์สมุนไพรแช่เท้าจากเปลือกส้มโอซึ่งเป็นวัสดุเหลือทิ้งในชุมชนวังขนาย

บทคัดย่อ
ชุมชนวังขนาย อำเภอท่าม่วง จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี มีบ่อน้ำพุร้อนสำหรับบำบัดสุขภาพเท้า และมีเปลือกส้มโอเป็นวัสดุเหลือทิ้งทางการเกษตรจำนวนมาก ดังนั้นงานวิจัยนี้ ซึ่งเป็นการศึกษาในระดับห้องปฏิบัติการ จึงมุ่งเน้นที่จะพัฒนาตำรับสมุนไพรแช่เท้าจากเปลือกส้มโอพันธุ์ขาวใหญ่ โดยนำเปลือกส้มโอ ไพลแก่ ใบบัวบก และใบมะขาม ไปตากแห้งและบดให้ละเอียด ส่วนผสมดังกล่าวมีค่าความชื้นร้อยละ 4.68, 6.32, 4.13 และ 4.02 ตามลำดับ จากนั้นศึกษาปริมาณสมุนไพรแต่ละชนิดที่เหมาะสมต่อ 1 หน่วยบรรจุ (14 กรัม) โดยพิจารณาจากคะแนนความพึงพอใจโดยรวม สูตรที่ได้รับคะแนนความพึงพอใจโดยรวมสูงที่สุด ประกอบด้วย เปลือกส้มโอแห้ง ไพลแห้ง ใบบัวบกแห้ง ใบมะขามแห้ง สารส้ม และดอกเกลือ น้ำหนัก 4.5, 3, 1.5, 3, 1 และ 1 กรัม ตามลำดับ ทั้งหมดถูกผสมรวมกัน และบรรจุในถุงกรองชา (บรรจุภัณฑ์ชั้นใน) และถุงซิป (บรรจุภัณฑ์ชั้นนอก) ตามลำดับ มีต้นทุนการผลิต 9.64 บาทต่อซอง จากการนำผลิตภัณฑ์ไปทดสอบอายุการเก็บรักษาที่อุณหภูมิห้อง (28-30 องศาเซลเซียส) นาน 1 เดือน พบว่าคุณภาพของสมุนไพรแช่เท้าผ่านเกณฑ์ของมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์ชุมชน เลขที่ 666/2553 คือ บรรจุภัณฑ์สมบูรณ์ กลิ่นและสีปกติ ไม่จับก้อน ไม่พบเส้นใยเชื้อรา มีความชื้นร้อยละ 7.14 มีปริมาณจุลินทรีย์ทั้งหมด 1.92 cfu/100 กรัม และปริมาณยีสต์และรา 2.23 cfu/100 กรัม ผลิตภัณฑ์นี้สามารถลดปริมาณวัสดุเหลือทิ้งเปลือกส้มโอสดได้ถึง 1,108.37 กรัมต่อการผลิต 100 ซอง
