Stakeholder Analysis for Management Guideline Development of Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park, Phrapadaeng District, Samut Prakarn Province

Abstract

               This research aimed to study the main stakeholders of Sri Nakorn Khuean Khan Park as a visitor’s., to study the main benefits/impact and interactions of benefits/impact and to be part of the guidance for management development of Sri Nakorn Khuean Khan Park. The stakeholder analysis was used by the research population as a visitor group related to the benefits / impacts of Sri Nakorn Khuean Khan Park. There were 400 samplesize.Data were collected by using open-ended and closed-ended designed questionnaires. An analysis of key stakeholders is based on weighted mean score of four criteria: number of benefits / impacts,time period of benefit / impact, degree of dependency and degree of accountability.


               The study indicated that there were 10 groups of stakeholders that was divided by career criteria as follows: private organization 135 persons (33.75%), youth 83 persons (20.75%), government 60 persons (15.00%),  state enterprises47 persons (11.75%), employee 29 persons (7.25%), merchant 19 persons (4.75%), employees of non-government and non-profit organization 10 persons (2.50%), house-wife/husband 8 persons (2.00%), unemployable person 6 persons (1.50%), senior citizen 3 persons (0.75%). Main stakeholders was "Government career" group, which total score from four conditions were 13.56.The main benefit that all stakeholder groups had in common was the "Recreation"and frequency of impact was zero in all groups. Finally the best way to develop the management of Sri Nakorn Khuean Khan Park should be based on participatory principles from all parties. To increase potential management and will lead to concrete management. "Government career" was a group that more influential than other groups. The main benefit was "recreation" would will attract the stakeholders as visitors to participate in the process of managing the Sri Nakorn Khuean Khan Park area in the future in an effective manner.
