Study of Enarmoniini (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) in Trat Agroforestry Research and Training Station and new records from Thailand

Abstract

Tribe Enarmoniini is in the subfamily Olethreutinae, family Tortricidae. The objectives of this research are survey and identify species of Enarmonine moths in Agroforestry Research and Training Station at Trat Province. The specimens were collected every 2 months from October 2011- August 2012 by a 20 watts blacklight and white sheet 2x2 m. The light was operated during 6.00 pm - 6.00 am. From the results, 36 specimens were found and identified into 4 genera 10 morphotypes; four morphotypes of genus Ancylis, a single morphotype of genus Cyphophanes, three morphotypes of genus Eucosmogastra and two morphotypes of genus Loboschiza. Of these, three genera and one identified species are recorded the first time for Thailand.
