Abstract

Tree phenology was carried out in Dry Dipterocarp Forest at Pakthongchai, Nakornratchasrima in order to select the suitable logging time. Results showed the logging time can be operated in anytime of the year since the activity will not harm the natural regeneration. Ground fire has diminished weed and undergrowth species. particularly during the dry season. Seed shedding often takes place in the wet season when soil moisture is adequated.  Nevertheless, it is recommended that the most suitable time for timber harvesting should be operated after seed shedding when ground layes is not compact. Log transportation should be delayed until the wet season was overred.
