Abstract
This research is a survey of knowledge and understanding of the management for Thai automotive parts manufacturers on the production of electric vehicles: A case of suspension system manufacturers. The population were divided into six group: frame, chassis, axles, suspension system, steering system, brake system, wheel system. The research aims to explore knowledge and management for Thai auto parts dealers and the people involved in the automotive parts industry to prepare for the automotive parts manufacturers. The survey research by using questionnaire was conducted 80 samples. The data, then, was analyzed by using statistical package for the social science (SPSS) and analytical hierarchy process (AHP). The results show that, the most respondents had the highest level of knowledge about electric vehicles due to the current trend of electric cars actuate the electric vehicle manufacturers were encouraged to study the technology of electric cars. The attitude for Thai automotive parts manufacturers agreed on the support of research and development, and the feasibility was least feasible. So, the government should be prepare for support of research and development to be used for electric vehicle.
