Abstract

Mycelial growth and rate of sporulation of Paecilomyces lilacinus were investigated with different culture media, medium concentrations, pH, temperatures and shaking speeds, compared with Penicillium sp. Suitable conditions for cultivation of Paecilomyces lilacinus were 5 days on Soybean BrotI(SB) and Potato Dextrose BrotI(PDB) at 50% concentration, pH 6.5 (6.0-7.0), temperature 31oC and 220-270 rpm on shaker.
