บทคัดย่อ

Mungbean (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek) varieties Pag-asa, CES-14, CES-87, U-Thong 1 and local variety were planted at three different periods in farmer fields in Bangpae district of Rachaburi Province. The objective was to identify which can produce a considerably high yield, so that it can be planted by farmers in rice-mungbean cropping system. The yield of Pag-asa and CES-14 were consistency high in most trails. Number of pod per plant was the major contributor to yield performance in Pag-asa. However, in CES 14, the high number of seed per pod and larger seed size were the main contributor to yield. This result indicated the importance of each yield components which can equally result in variation of yield in mungbean.
