Preparation of a local Strain of Mycoplasma gallisepticum Antigen for Rapid Serum Plate Agglutionation Test
บทคัดย่อ
Antigen of Mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG) for rapid serum agglutionation was prepared by using a local strain of MG which had been isolated from infected layers of a certain farm. The organism was grown in PPLO broth at least thirty-two passages after being selected at each passage for a pure colony. The antigen was demonstrated for rapid agglutination test by reacted chicken sera that has been experimentally infected with the same MG strain. The results indicated that the prepared antigens were 100% positive with tested sera, the same as with the commercial RSA antigen made from MG S 6 strain.
