The Model of Interaction Support System Development in Classroom for The 21st Century Active Learning

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to design and develop interaction support system in classroom for the 21^st century active learning and evaluate the effectiveness of developed model. This research included 6 processes were 1) collected and analyzed data 2) designed the model of interaction support system in classroom 3) analyzed and designed the interaction support system in classroom 4) designed user interface 5) developed the system and tested 6) evaluated the effectiveness of this model. The system was developed to be a web-based application by PHP language with MySQL database. The results of development and testing found that the system could be used for learning management in classroom. The effectiveness of this model was evaluated by 2 parts, 1) learning achievement, the findings indicated that student average scores were increased at the .05 level of significance and 2) user satisfaction, the results from 30 students found that the students’ satisfaction was high level ( =4.25, SD.= 0.69) and the level of teachers’ satisfaction in using the system was high too ( =4.26, SD.= 0.61).
