An Information System for Preparation and Enhancement of Skill for Assistant Teachers Examination

Abstract

The information system for preparation and enhancement of skill for assistant teacher examination is developed based on the problem and obstacle on access into sources of examination guidelines manual and information of sample test for self-efficacy testing of those who wish to take the assistant teacher examination. It is found that most of the online self-testing websites do not have the effective database system of the answer for the question or that does not have the testing scores record system after using logout from the information system. Then, the website’s user cannot properly evaluate their knowledge capability. This developed information system for preparation and enhancement of skill for of assistant teacher examination has a dynamic system to create a series of exams, a testing system that can report the test results and the answer together with explanation. Furthermore, the testing scores for each time of system’s member who login can also be recorded in the system’s database that the members can view their own scores for each subject at any time that he/she accesses web application of this information system. For an evaluation of satisfaction efficiency of this developed information system by the computer specialists and the system’s users, it was found that the developed information system has a very good level for both the design content and design information system, and the system and application practice (average score 8.37+0.73 and 8.09+0.60 of 10.0, respectively).
