Abstract

This research aims to analyze the horizontal distances (sx) of falling by using Tracker program with
the theoretical examination of the projectile motion. The tested puppet was examined by the shooting of fall model with non-external force and with the external force of 4, 5, 6 and 7 bars from the 11 meters (sy) height building. The research found that the horizontal distance where the average distances are 2.41, 2.47, 3.05, 2.59 and 2.48 meter, respectively. In addition, with the external force of 6 and 7 bars, the horizontal distances were found to be closer to the building due to the effect of a rotational motion as the center of mass was not forced. Consider the projectile motion under all conditions, the relationship between horizontal distance (sx), velocity (v) and time (t) were found to be consistent with the theory. The velocity of the falling can be estimated by the proposed equation vx= 0.70 sx (sy)-1/2 + 0.30
