บทคัดย่อ
ไนโตรกลีเซอรีนนอกจากถูกใช้เป็นสารสำคัญในการผลิตระเบิดที่ใช้ในอุตสาหกรรมก่อสร้าง เหมืองแร่ และการรื้อถอน ยังเป็นหนึ่งในสารที่ใช้ทางการแพทย์ เพื่อรักษาโรคเกี่ยวกับหัวใจและหลอดเลือด เช่น โรคหลอดเลือดหัวใจตีบ โดยการสังเคราะห์ไนโตรกลีเซอรีนนั้น จะใช้กลีเซอรอลทำปฏิกิริยากับกรดไนตริกและมีกรดซัลฟิวริกเป็นตัวเร่งปฏิกิริยา โดยส่วนใหญ่จะทำการสังเคราะห์ภายใต้อุณหภูมิไม่เกิน 30 องศาเซลเซียส ปัจจุบันมีงานวิจัยที่กล่าวถึงไนโตรกลีเซอรีนเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง แต่วิธีสังเคราะห์อย่างละเอียดนั้น ส่วนใหญ่เป็นข้อมูลทางการค้าที่สงวนไว้ บทความนี้จึงได้ทำการรวบรวมข้อมูลและศึกษาเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับวิธีการสังเคราะห์ไนโตรกลีเซอรีนจากกลีเซอรอล โดยระบุสภาวะสำคัญ เช่น อุณหภูมิที่ใช้ในการทดลอง รวมไปถึงขั้นตอนและวิธีการสังเคราะห์ไนโตรกลีเซอรีน เป็นต้น
