การทดสอบด้วยไคกำลังสอง เป็นการทดสอบที่ใช้สำหรับการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลที่อยู่ในรูปความถี่ ซึ่งมีการนำมาใช้กับงานวิจัยอย่างแพร่หลาย แต่เนื่องจากงานวิจัยส่วนใหญ่มักมีข้อมูลเป็นจำนวนมาก จึงจำเป็นต้องอาศัยโปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปทางสถิติมาช่วยในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเหล่านั้น โดยโปรแกรมสำเร็จรูปทางสถิติมีให้เลือกใช้หลากหลายโปรแกรม ซึ่งแต่ละโปรแกรมมีข้อดีและข้อจำกัดที่แตกต่างกัน ในบทความนี้ได้กล่าวถึงการใช้โปรแกรม 3 โปรแกรม คือ Minitab v.15, Instat v.3.36 และ R Commander 2.9.0โดยการใช้โจทย์ปัญหา 3 ตัวอย่าง มาทดสอบด้วยไคกำลังสอง พบว่า การคำนวณค่าทางสถิติของการทดสอบด้วยไคกำลังสองจากทั้ง 3 โปรแกรม ให้ผลลัพธ์ในข้อสรุปที่เหมือนกัน เพียงแต่มีความแตกต่างกันในเรื่องการนำเข้าข้อมูลและการแจ้งข้อความเตือนเมื่อความถี่คาดหมายมีค่าน้อยกว่า 5 เท่านั้น

Abstract

The Chi-Square test is the methodology for data analysis in the format of frequency, and it has been widely used in research work because of the large number of data. Thus, we need statistical package programs to help us analyze the data. We have several programs to carry out this work, and each program is outstanding and limited in use differently.In this article, we mentioned the use three programs; Minitab version 15, In stat version 3.36 and R Commander version2.9.0 respectively. In the Chi-Square test of three examples of problems, we found the statistical value of testing all programs gave the same results. However, they were different in use both data-input and pop up warning messages when the expected frequency was less than only five.
