Application of Overall Operation Hazard Identification Model of Industrial plant: Case study of industrial Plant in Nakhon Ratchasima province

Abstract

The selection of hazard identification techniques to be suitable for factories of different sizes and different production processes is complicated and takes time to study in order to cover all operations.

The researcher has developed the Overall Operation Hazard Identification Model: OOHIM.                             

That covers all operations of industrial plants with different production processes. Can be applied to all types of industries Is a technique that is not complicated and easy to use. By using the strengths of the Checklist technique, the  What- if technique, the HAZOP technique, and the JSA technique to develop into the OOHIM technique.

The results of the research showed that Able to search for risk factors of small industrial plants Medium and large size in Nakhon Ratchasima province, comparing with Checklist technique, found that it can search for risk factors covering all 4 operations more than Checklist technique. This research is a test comparing with only one hazard identification technique. More research should be done compared with the other Hazard Identification. The OOHIM techniques can be developed to be more effective by adding headers of operation and checklists.
