บทคัดย่อ

The study of biodiversity in the forest in terms of conservation is an important and needed issue. Plant diversity in Phu Pha Lom Forest Park, which consist of dry evergreen forest and dry dipterocarp forest, Na-Duang District, Loei Province was studied. Seven plots of 20´20 meters were used for studying plant diversity. The study showed the diversity of plants was 37 families 57 genera 66 species. The dominant species were Shorea obtusa Wall. ex Blume (31.60796),Streblus ilicifolius (Vidal) Corner (30.31058), and Tetrameles nudifl ora R. Br. (29.10595), respectively. The values of a species diversity index (Shannon’s Index, H) of trees and understory were 2.88413 and 2.00709, the species diversity values (D) were 17.88802 and 7.44163, and the evenness values (J) were 0.73724 and 0.70841, respectively. Moreover, plants were used for several categories such as edible, construction, dye coloring, medicine, and spiritual and symbolic. This research can provied basic information for further study.
