ประสิทธิผลของบทเรียนคอมพิวเตอร์ช่วยสอน เรื่อง เภสัชวิทยาของยารักษาแผลในทางเดินอาหาร

Abstract
The purpose of this experimental study was to examine the effects of the providing handout and the computer-assisted instruction (CAI) on learning achievement, learning retention and attitudes of pharmacy students toward instructional media in pharmacology of antipeptic ulcer drugs. One hundred and eighteen of the 3rd year pharmacy students at Mahasarakham University. Of these, 59 were assigned to a control group self-learning by the handout, and 59 to an intervention group self-learning by the CAI. Ninety minutes was set for self-learning for both groups. All participants were assessed by the average scores of pre-test, post-test, retention test (two weeks after learning), and the average satisfaction score for learning materials. At post-test, participants in both groups had significantly higher scores than pre-test (p < 0.001), and participants in the intervention group had shown a significant higher scores than the control group (p < 0.05). In terms of retention test, no significant improvements were found in both groups. Regarding the average satisfaction scores for learning materials, the results found significant higher score of the overall satisfaction of the CAI than the handout (p < 0.05). In conclusion, the CAI can be used as a tool to facilitate and improve instruction which it is better than the handout.
