Abstract

This research aims to consolidate information on local museums in Bangkok and to develop a digital platform as a tool to promote cultural learning and enhance sustainable tourism value and to evaluate user satisfaction toward the platform. The platform was designed and developed to support both iOS and Android operating systems, with the integration of a LINE Official Account (LINE OA) as the primary channel for communication, notifications, and user interaction. In addition, geolocation and digital mapping technologies, specifically Google Maps Location Services, were employed to support museum location visualization, travel planning, and efficient access to spatial information. The core functionalities of the platform include museum information search, geographical location mapping, user commenting and participation features, and information sharing through social media. The results of the user satisfaction evaluation indicate a high overall level of satisfaction with the platform (overall mean = 4.08). Specifically, the usability aspect achieved a mean score of 4.03, system functionality recorded a mean score of 4.10, aesthetics also recorded a mean score of 4.10. These findings demonstrate that the developed digital platform effectively meets user needs and highlight the potential of applying digital technologies to support cultural learning and promote sustainable tourism for local museums.
