Declaration of AI Use in Manuscript Preparation
Posted on 2025-11-02To uphold the highest standards of research integrity, the Thai Journal of Agricultural Science (TJAS) requires all authors to declare the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in preparing their manuscripts.
Effective immediately, authors must include a statement in their manuscript if AI technologies (such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, or other generative AI systems) were used in any stage of the research or writing process.
This declaration must appear at the end of the manuscript under the section “Declaration of AI Use”, following this example:
Declaration of AI Use:
The authors declare that Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools were used in the preparation of this manuscript only for [e.g., language editing / grammar correction / improving readability]. The authors take full responsibility for the content, interpretation, and conclusions of this work.
If no AI tools were used, please state:
Declaration of AI Use:
The authors declare that no AI tools were used in the preparation of this manuscript.
Authors are reminded that AI tools cannot be listed as authors and should not be used to generate or manipulate research data, results, images, or references. Misrepresentation or undisclosed use of AI tools may constitute a violation of publication ethics and be handled in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
This policy aims to promote transparency, accountability, and responsible use of AI in scientific publishing.
