Abstract
The study on the antibiotics susceptibility testing of Aeromonas hydrophila isolated from lowland frog cultured in Sakon Nakhon province during April, 2016 – February, 2017. Total of 51 isolates were obtained in which all were identified to be A. hydrophila. This bacteria was smooth round in TSA, gram negative in short shape with enzymes catalase and oxidase. It is not able to grow up at 4% of sodium chloride. In the antibiotics susceptibility study the result showed that group against the resistance: R were Amoxicillin,Ampicillin, Erythromycin and Penicillin G. at 100, 100, 96.08, and 100% respectively. In sensitive: S, 94.12,
98.04, 96.08, 98.04, 92.16, 100.00, 96.08, 98.04, 39.22, 41.18, and 92.16% of Chloramphenicol, Ciprofloxacin,Enrofloxacin, Gentamicin, Kanamycin, Nitrofurantoin, Norfloxacin, Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim,Tetracycline, Oxytetracycline and Streptomycin were antibiotics sensitive respectively. However, It is
noticeable that there were small number of antibiotic sensitivity in Oxytetracycline and Tetracycline, whichthe local farmers have been using these two groups of antibiotics for long time and there should be close
monitoring
