Opinions towards extension and support on organic rice production of farmers in Agricultural Settlement, Tambol Kummad , Kudchum District, Yasotorn Province

Abstract
The objective of this research were to study opinions towards extension and support on organicrice production of farmers Research data were collected from 100 farmers, selected by randomsampling, in November 2018. Data collection was conducted by using interview schedules and, then thedata were analyzed by using the computer program SPSS for Windows for the values frequency, mean, maximum, minimum, standard deviation, t-test and F-test.
The study results revealed that for the opinions towards extension on organic rice production, all 25 items were viewed as suitable at a high level. The first 5 items that had the highest scores were : 1) farm visits, 2) advocacy from related agencies, 3) organizing activities for exchanging knowledge and experiences, 4) receiving information from Internet, and 5) practical training. For the opinions towards extension on transferring knowledge on organic rice production, organic rice, the farmers expressed that all 29 items were suitable at a high level and the first 5 items that had the highest scores were: 1) land preparation, 2) no burning of stumps, 3) bio liquid fertilizer, 4) verifying system of organic products, and
5) selecting rice varieties and seed. The farmers perceived that transferring knowledge on organic rice processing was suitable at a low level in all items. For the opinions towards the support provided, it was found that the farmers viewed all 26 items suitable at a high level and the first 5 items that had the highest scores were: 1) learning center, 2) rice barn, 3) processing and selling of rice products, 4) water pumps and 5) two-wheeled tractor.
