Consumers Knowledge on Local Vegetables in Khon Kaen Province

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study consumers' knowledge towards local vegetables in Khon Kaen province. The data collected from 400 respondents through a questionnaire. The availability of local vegetable in fresh market and Khon Kaen agricultural fair were confirmed. The data obtained from the survey were analyzed using descriptive statistic and t-test. The results indicated that 90.70% of consumers have high knowledge of local vegetable, 9.00% and 0.30% of consumer have moderate level and low level, respectively. Moreover, The difference kind of market place. Compared between fresh market and Khon Kaen
agricultural fair have effect to knowledge of local vegetable.
