Abstract

This research of mixed methods research as the following 1) Quantitative research was conducted by using the questionnaire to study the sufficiency economy philosophy of the household of Ban Nong Phueak, Wapi Pathum, Maha Sarakham, The sampling of about 224 persons and 2) Qualitative research using participatory rural appraisal (PRA) research, The purpose are study community development in accordance with sufficiency economy philosophy, The targeted to 30 key informants (KI) with a study of the factors affecting the sufficiency economy village of rich and happy. Statistics for analyzing data include Pearson correlation coefficient (r) and multiple regression analysis. The selection is a research area because the Ban Nong Phueak is outstanding. The award of sufficiency economy village Level 3 "Rich and Happy”. The results followed; the community context and lifestyle following the philosophy of sufficiency economy, (3 Pillars - 2 conditions) and all aspects are in high level. The most practical aspect is the rationality ( X = 4.22). People are involved in the traditions of
the community, living and practicing the principles of religion, using intellect and reason to climb to find the cause and solve problems. Think around, have compassion, and always help others. Immunity ( X = 4.13), people in the community have the belief that "What goes around, comes around" and will continue to do good for themselves and their families. People have money, life insurance or money. Less than current liabilities are positive. Democracy in coexistence, saving money for emergency and morale ( X = 4.02) to safety in life and property. And try to avoid all the moves. The performance of sufficiency economy villages at happy can be separated into the savings performance in high level ( X = 4.06) People have savings channels, such as members of the savings group. Group trust fund village or bank. Secondly, the natural resources and environment ( X = 4.05). The people value the use of natural resources in a cost effective and economical way. People participate in the conservation of natural resources and the environment, participation in waste management properly. And the generosity ( X = 4.04), people participate in the activities of their neighbors, such as wedding ceremony, funeral service, and the government service is considered to create a harmony. The important factor that makes the community successful is the sufficiency economy village of rich and happy. There are 8 factors: the village leaders, society and culture, participation, economic, natural resources, psychological and technology, The overall, 8 factors correlated with success in becoming efficient village economy statistically significant at the 0.01 level. The analysis of relationships and impacts, it was found that the implementation of the 3-loop principle 2, knowledge-based conditions, had a positive relationship and positive impact. So, to improve the performance of the community. Should focus on educating people in the community.
