การสกัดคุณลักษณะด้วย CNN ที่ผ่านการฝึกฝนล่วงหน้าเพื่อการระบุลักษณะทางสัณฐานของอะแคนทามีบาแบบอัตโนมัติ

บทคัดย่อ
อะแคนทามีบา (Acanthamoeba spp.) เป็นอะมีบาที่ดำรงชีวิตเป็นอิสระในสิ่งแวดล้อม และเป็นโพรโตซัวชนิดฉวยโอกาสที่มีศักยภาพในการส่งผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพของมนุษย์ การระบุชนิดและสายพันธุ์ของอะแคนทามีบาจึงมีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งสำหรับการวินิจฉัยและการรักษาโรค หนึ่งในวิธีการพื้นฐานของการจำแนกสายพันธุ์คือการประเมินขนาดและรูปร่างของผนังชั้นใน (endocyst) และผนังชั้นนอก (ectocyst) ของซีสต์ ซึ่งสามารถจำแนกกลุ่มตามคุณลักษณะทางสัณฐานวิทยาออกได้เป็น 3 กลุ่ม (GI, GII, GIII) อย่างไรก็ตาม กระบวนการระบุลักษณะทางสัณฐานนี้มักต้องใช้เวลาและความเชี่ยวชาญเฉพาะด้าน งานวิจัยนี้จึงมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาระบบวิเคราะห์ภาพแบบอัตโนมัติสำหรับการจำแนกกลุ่มซีสต์ของ Acanthamoeba spp. โดยใช้เทคนิคการสกัดคุณลักษณะด้วยโครงข่ายประสาทเทียมแบบคอนโวลูชันที่ผ่านการฝึกฝนล่วงหน้า (Pre-trained CNN) ร่วมกับตัวจำแนกประเภท Support Vector Machine (SVM) เพื่อเพิ่มความแม่นยำในการวินิจฉัยทางพยาธิวิทยาและลดข้อผิดพลาดในการจำแนกกลุ่ม การสกัดคุณลักษณะนั้นดำเนินการโดยนำโมเดล CNN ที่ผ่านการฝึกฝนล่วงหน้าจาก ImageNet (Xception, EfficientNet-B0, EfficientNet-B1, VGG16, ResNet50, ResNet101, MobileNet, Inception-V3 และ InceptionResNet-V2) มาสกัดคุณลักษณะ จากนั้นนำผ่านตัวจำแนก SVM เพื่อจำแนกกลุ่มซีสต์ (GI, GII, GIII) พร้อมกับมีการเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพกับวิธีการสกัดคุณลักษณะด้วยวิธีดั้งเดิม ผลการทดลองพบว่าระบบที่ใช้ Pre-trained CNN ร่วมกับ SVM สามารถจำแนกซีสต์ของ Acanthamoeba spp. ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพด้วยค่าความถูกต้องสูงกว่า 95% โดยที่ ResNet50 และ ResNet101 แสดงผลลัพธ์ที่ดีที่สุดตามลำดับ ผลลัพธ์ดังกล่าวสามารถยืนยันถึงศักยภาพของการสกัดคุณลักษณะด้วย Pre-trained CNN เพื่อการจำแนกกลุ่มซีสต์ตามลักษณะทางสัณฐานวิทยาที่ซับซ้อน และสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในงานวินิจฉัยทางคลินิกได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
