Abstract

The utilization of Grey Oyster (Pleurotus sajor-caju (Fr.) Singers) Mushroom cutting by-products replaced protein source from soybean meal.  Nine of 50% Thai native x Anglo Nubian goats, 6-8 months old with an average body weight of 19.33±2.52 kg, and were distributed in a completely randomized design. There were 3 treatments: T1 = 0% Grey Oyster Mushroom cutting by-products, T2 = 13.50% Grey Oyster Mushroom cutting by-products and T3 = 26.87% Grey Oyster Mushroom cutting by-products in concentrate. Grey Oyster Mushroom cutting by-products was 19.29% of dry matter, 21.31% crude protein and 8.60% crude fiber. Dry matter intake in term of g/h/d (0.70-1.22 kg/d), %body weight (4.15-4.45%BW), g/kg BW0.75(89.95-101.12 g/kg BW0.75) were not significant among treatments. The average daily gain in group of 13.50% in concentrate diet was highest. Furthermore, the utilization of Grey Oyster Mushroom cutting by-products was not effect on blood metabolite.
