          YRU Journal of Science and Technology (YRUJST) is published by the Institute of Research and Development for Southern Border Provinces, Yala Rajabhat University, Thailand. Driven by a strong commitment to advancing research, the university established the journal in 2016 (B.E. 2559) as a medium for disseminating academic works by faculty members, researchers, students, and personnel from both within and outside the university. The journal is currently certified as a Tier 1 journal in the Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI) database for 2026–2029 and is being further developed for future inclusion in the Scopus database.
          YRUJST welcomes research articles and academic articles written in English (effective 1 October 2026). It releases three issues annually: Issue 1 (January–April), Issue 2 (May–August), and Issue 3 (September–December), and is published entirely online via the ThaiJO platform. Every submitted manuscript undergoes a double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers in the relevant field.

Aims and Scope
          YRUJST aims to publish high-quality research articles and review articles that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in science and technology. The journal covers the following areas:
          Physical Sciences: Physics and Chemistry
          Biological Sciences: Agriculture, Biology, Microbiology, and Biotechnology
          Applied Sciences: Food Technology, Cosmetic Science, and Environmental Science

Publishing Timeline
          The following are typical timelines for manuscripts submitted to YRUJST. Durations for the journal's editorial processes exclude weekends and public holidays, and actual times may vary depending on reviewer availability and the time taken by authors to complete their revisions.
          Submission to first decision: 1 week
          Submission to decision after review: 5–6 weeks
          Submission to acceptance: 16–20 weeks

Publication Fees
          YRUJST does not charge any submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), or other fees at any stage of the publication process.
