Publication Consideration
Types of Articles
          Research Article: A research article should include Title, Author(s) and Affiliation(s), Abstract, Keywords, Introduction (including Research Objectives), Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion (including Suggestions), Acknowledgments (including Funding Statement), Author Contributions, Conflict of Interest Statement, Data Availability Statement (if applicable), AI Use Declaration, and References. The manuscript should be 8–15 pages, including references.
          Review Article: An review article should include Title, Author(s) and Affiliation(s), Abstract, Keywords, Introduction (including the Objectives or Purpose of the Article), Main Text (organized into appropriate thematic sections), Conclusion (including Suggestions), Acknowledgments (including Funding Statement) (if applicable), Conflict of Interest Statement, Data Availability Statement (if applicable), AI Use Declaration, and References. The manuscript should be 10–30 pages, including references.

 

Manuscript Format 
          Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word 2003 or later using A4 portrait layout with Distributed alignment. Thai text must use TH SarabunPSK, while English text must use Times New Roman. Mathematical equations and special symbols should be formatted using the Symbol font at the same size as the surrounding text. Page numbers must appear at the top-right corner of each page. Further formatting requirements are provided in the Guidelines for Manuscript Preparation.

Article Sequence: Manuscripts should follow the structure below

  • Title: The title must be provided in both Thai and English and aligned at the center of the page. It should be concise, informative, and accurately reflect the scope and content of the manuscript.
  • Authors: Authors’ first names and last names must be written in both Thai and English without academic titles or positions. An asterisk (*) must be placed after the last name of the corresponding author.
  • Affiliations: Authors’ affiliations and complete mailing addresses must be provided in both Thai and English. The affiliation should include the department, faculty or institution, organization, city, province/state (if applicable), postal code, and country.
  • Corresponding Author’s E-mail: Only the e-mail address of the corresponding author should be provided. An asterisk (*) must be placed after the corresponding author’s name to indicate correspondence.
  • Abstract: The abstract must be written in both Thai and English and should not exceed 300 It should briefly describe the background, objectives, materials and methods, principal results, and conclusions of the study. Three to five keywords should be provided immediately after the abstract.
  • Keywords: Three to five keywords must be provided in both Thai and English. Keywords should accurately represent the main topics of the manuscript and facilitate indexing and retrieval.
  • Introduction: The introduction should present the background, rationale, research problem, concepts or theories, relevant literature, research gap, and the significance of the study. It should clearly explain the necessity of the research and its expected academic or practical contributions.
  • Objectives: The research objectives should be clearly stated, specific, measurable, and directly related to the research problem and the methodology employed in the study. (Including research objectives at the end of the Introduction)
  • Materials and Methods: This section should describe the research design, study area or participants, materials, instruments, data collection procedures, variables, analytical methods, and statistical techniques where applicable. The methodology should be sufficiently detailed to enable replication and should correspond to the stated research objectives.
  • Results and Discussion: This section should present the study's findings objectively, clearly, and systematically, aligned with the research objectives and methods, using appropriate text, tables, figures, or statistical analyses. It should also interpret the major findings, explain their significance, compare them with previous studies, relate them to relevant theories or concepts, and discuss their implications, strengths, limitations, and potential applications.
  • Conclusions: The conclusion should briefly summarize the major findings of the study, emphasize their significance, and demonstrate how they address the research objectives. No new information should be introduced in this section.
  • Suggestions: Suggestions should provide concise and practical recommendations for policy, practice, implementation, or future research based on the findings of the study.
  • Acknowledgments: This section should recognize individuals, organizations, institutions, or agencies that provided technical assistance, administrative support, or other contributions to the study but do not meet the criteria for authorship.
  • Funding Statement: The funding statement should identify all financial support received for the research, including the funding agency, grant number (if applicable), and any other sources of financial assistance. If no funding was received, this should be explicitly stated.
  • Author Contributions: The contributions of each author must be described according to the 14 contributor roles of the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy), clearly identifying each author's responsibilities in the research and manuscript preparation.
  • Conflict of Interest Declaration: The authors must declare whether any financial, professional, institutional, or personal relationships could have influenced the research or the interpretation of its findings. If no conflicts exist, the manuscript should explicitly state that the authors declare no conflict of interest.
  • Data Availability Statement: This section should describe the availability of the data supporting the findings of the study, including where the data can be accessed, any conditions for access, or the reasons why the data cannot be publicly shared.
  • Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted Technologies: The authors must disclose the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) or AI-assisted technologies during the preparation of the manuscript. The declaration should identify the AI tools used and describe their purposes, such as drafting, language editing, translation, data organization, or improving readability. All AI-generated outputs must have been reviewed, verified, and revised by the authors, who retain full responsibility for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and ethical compliance of the final manuscript.
  • References: References must follow the APA 6th edition (YRUJST Style). A maximum of 30 references is recommended. Authors should primarily cite scholarly sources published within the past five years, except for classical theories, laws, regulations, or standard formulas. The use of website citations should be limited and restricted to reliable and authoritative sources.

In-text Citations
In-text citations in this journal apply name-year citation system.
Name: State only author’s last name.
Year: State the year of publication.
When one author is a part of sentence, put only the year of publication and page number in parentheses, as follows.

Daramae (2016) found that ………………………………………… When  one  author  is  not  mentioned in sentence,  put  author’s  name,  year  of publication and page number in parentheses, as follows.
...................................................................(Clark, 2010).

Tables
      The title of each table must be concise and understandable. Number all tables in order. The title and number of each table should be placed above the table, starting with Table 1 and continuing sequentially to the last table. If a table needs a citation, put the author's name and year of publication in parentheses at the end of the title, as presented below.

Figures
       The minimum resolution of figures is 900 ppi. (For drawings, minimum resolution is 600 ppi.) The minimum height of figures is 6 cm. A brief explanatory title must be provided for each figure, and each figure should be numbered in order beneath it, such as Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3, and so on, until the last figure. When a figure is mentioned in the narrative, the number of the mentioned figure must be identified. To provide a reference to a figure, put the author's name and year of publication in parentheses beneath the figure, as presented below.

**When not all the documents are submitted, the manuscript will not be assessed and be rejected immediately.**

  1. Before starting the submission process, please review the submission guidelines and checklist for fast editorial process. If the manuscript does not follow the guidelines, it will immediately be rejected.
  2. The review and publication process typically takes approximately 4–5 months (16–20 weeks) from manuscript submission to publication. The YRU Journal of Science and Technology reserves the right to decline requests for expedited processing or shorter publication timelines.
  3. In case your manuscript needs a revision, you are required to edit the manuscript and send the revised version to the staff within 30 days, after being informed about the revision. Otherwise, your manuscript could be rejected for publication.
  4. The author must revise manuscript according to the recommendations of reviewer and editor. If you disagree with the recommendations of the reviewer and editor, the author can explain to the editor. However, the editor's decision is final.
  5. If AI is utilized in any part of an article, it must be disclosed to the journal. If it is discovered that AI has been used in certain parts of the article without proper modification or disclosure, even if the article has been accepted, published, or disseminated, the journal reserves the right to withdraw the articlefrom publication immediately.

Note: The review process takes approximately 1 month. However, the duration depends on the author’s preparation and revision of the manuscript as well.
