การใช้สารเสริมไฟโตจีนิกเพื่อลดผลกระทบความเครียดจากความร้อนในไก่เนื้อ

บทคัดย่อ

ปัจจุบันอุตสาหกรรมการผลิตสัตว์ทั่วโลกกำลังประสบปัญหากับภาวะโลกร้อนและการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพอากาศอย่างรุนแรง ทำให้สัตว์เกิดความเครียดจากความร้อนได้ง่ายและก่อให้เกิดอนุมูลอิสระในร่างกายเกินกว่ากลไกของร่างกายที่จะกำจัดได้ ซึ่งเหนี่ยวนำให้เกิดความเครียดออกซิเดชัน มีผลให้เซลล์ต่าง ๆ รวมถึงเซลล์บริเวณผนังลำไส้ถูกทำลาย ส่งผลให้ความสามารถในการย่อยและใช้ประโยชน์ได้ของโภชนะด้อยประสิทธิภาพและสมรรถนะการเจริญเติบโตลดลง อีกทั้งยังก่อให้เกิดความสูญเสียทางเศรษฐกิจมูลค่ามหาศาล ดังนั้นการรวบรวมเอกสารครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาคุณสมบัติของสารเสริมไฟโตจีนิกที่มีศักยภาพนำมาประยุกต์ใช้เพื่อลดผลกระทบที่เกิดจากความเครียดจากความร้อนในไก่เนื้อ ซึ่งพบว่าสารเสริมไฟโตจีนิกจากส่วนต่าง ๆ ของพืชและสมุนไพร ทั้งในรูปผงแห้ง สารสกัดแบบเดี่ยวหรือสารสกัดแบบผสมที่มีองค์ประกอบของสารฟีนอลหรือโพลีฟีนอล สามารถช่วยปรับปรุงสมรรถนะการเจริญเติบโต เพิ่มความสามารถในการต้านอนุมูลอิสระ เพิ่มการแสดงออกของยีน Heat shock protein (HSP) กระตุ้นภูมิคุ้มกัน และลดการอักเสบในไก่เนื้อที่เลี้ยงภายใต้ภาวะความเครียดจากความร้อนได้
