Factors Affecting the Success of Sri Chum Saeng Wine Community Enterprise, Tha Mai Ruak Sub-district, Tha Yang District, Phetchaburi Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: to study 1) demographic factors 2) management factors
3) leadership factors 4) supporting factors 5) the success of community enterprise and 6) relationship
between demographic factors, management factors, leadership factors, supporting factors, with the
success of community enterprise. Samples for this study were 95 members of the community enterprise.
Data were collected by structured interview schedule. Statistics used to analyze data were frequency,
percentage, mean, standard deviation. Hypothesis testing was done by using chi-square test. Research
finding revealed that most of members were female, an average age was 52.60 years old, attained
elementary education or lower and agricultural career. On an average, the income was 10,615.79 Bath/

month, experienced as member 8.27 years. Management factors finding that on opinion of human factors,
money factors, material factors, management factors, machine factors were at the high levels. Marketing
were at the moderate level. Leadership factors was at high level. Supporting factors from Department
Agricultural Extension was the most. Receiving of informations were mostly from the enterprise committee
and members, television, and training. Finances factors from the enterprise internal funding.Success
factors on empowerment factors and product factors were at high level. Hypothesis testing was found that
experienced as member, management factorsin human factors, material factors, management factors,
machine factors, marketing and leadership had related with success in empowerment factors.Material
factors, management factors, machine factors, and marketing had related with success in product factors
at 0.05, 0.01 level of significance.
