Morphology of <I>Calanthe cardioglossa</I> Schltr.

Abstract

Morphology of Calanthe cardioglossa Schltr. Was studied. Characteristics of pseudobulb, leaf, inflorescence and floret were recorded focusing on variations found in the shape and colour of pseudobulbs and petals, especially the lips, of the plants distributed in clusters. The plants studied were the samples collected from two growth habitats of different altitudes.
