Strategic planning of Umong Municipality, Lampun Province: A Participation Approach.

Abstract

Strategic planning is a technique we can use to create a favorable future of some organization. To create this favorable future, Organization's stakeholders must be involved in the process. The objectives of this research are to find out the strategic plans of Umong Municipality and, to achieve strategic plans, external analysis, internal assessment, strategic direction are analyzed. Strategic plans are the documented, specific courses of action that define how to deal with critical issues in the future period. The results from the development and evaluation of the selected methodology show that aggressive profile should be the strategic plans of the Umong Municipality. Strategic plans not only attuned assumptions about the future, but also focus on using these plans as a blueprint for daily activities.
