Abstract
Nine cultivars of freesia corms i.e. Rapid White® Varawit, Oberon, St. Tropez, White Wings® Vadubla, Michelle® Richaumet, Blue Lady® Scorpios, Blue Heaven®, Golden Wave® Vacoro และ Orangina® Ricagina were stored 8-13 °C. Corms were sampled to grow in the field every week during October 1, to December 3. The effects of planting date on flowering of 9 cultivars of freesia were investigated. The results show that number of days from planting to anthesis, number of leaves/plant, plant height, number of florets/spike and length of flower stalk of freesia tended to decrease at later planting date.
