Study of Factors Affecting the Compression of Urea Molasses Mineral Blocks for Cows

Abstract
The objective is to study the production process and physical characteristics of Urea Molasse Mineral Blocks for cows. The design and study of factors affecting the briquette of mineral supplements for cows. Testing evaluate of the supplement making mineral briquette machine. The ingredients of raw materials consists of molasses 40kg, rice bran 36 kg, mineral premix 5 kg, cement 10 kg, lime 4 kg and urea fertilizer 5 kg. The dimension of sample is average 12.80 cm of diameter and 9.09 cm of height with 2.14 kg per briquette of weight and time for bridging loss of 2.72 percent the mineral supplements was an 3,840 briquette. The results show that study of factors affecting the briquette of mineral main components structure, cylinder, hydraulic and power unit. It is found that optimum hydraulic compression force for briquette minerals for cows was 1,800 pound per square inch. The supplement mineral briquette machine compression time 45 seconds per briquette, loss of 1.5 percent. Economic evaluation packed with supplements mineral 2 baht. The break even-point is 29,606 kg per year payback period 640 briquette per day.
