Abstract

Study of plant growth regulators (PGR) on propagations of Melientha suavis Pierre. was conducted at Kaset Phatthana Village, Moo 15, Pa Pai Subdistrict, San Sai District, Chiang Mai Province, divided into three experiments as follows 1) Study on the optimum concentrations of GA3 on seed germinations of Melientha suavis Pierre. The results showed that  Melientha suavis Pierre was soaked in 2,000 mg/l-1 GA3 concentrations, gave a high germination rate of 24 percent. The shoot was 56.40 millimeters in length, with significant differences in other experiments. 2) Study the concentrations of IBA and NAA on rooting of cuttings of Melientha suavis Pierre. The results showed that both NAA and IBA were no affected to produce any roots of cutting of Melientha suavis Pierre. 3) Study of IBA and NAA concentrations on the rooting of air layering of Melientha suavis Pierre. The concentration of 3,000 mg/l-1 NAA showed the highest rooting percentage of 100 percent, with the highest of roots number as 12.5 roots, with significant differences in other experiments.
