Author Guidelines for Khon Kaen Agriculture Journal (KAJ)
- How to prepare manuscript
- Research paper which will be presented and published must be registered and submitted online via https://li01.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/agkasetkaj
- Research paper must be concern with conference themes, original, unpublished elsewhere and also be not translated from paper which was published.
- The manuscript must be a complete manuscript; full paper 12 pages A4 (8.5 inch x 11 inch), margins 1 inch (not be 2 columns), should using MS-Word, font TH Sarabun PSK 14 pts. and leave one line space. File must be saved by using the first author name. If there is more than 1 paper, number should be put after the author name.
- There are topics as following:
Title: both Thai and English (Paper published in English, no need to have Thai title)
Author’s name, position and institute: both Thai and English (Paper published in English, no need to have Thai version)
Abstract: both Thai and English; full 300 words and indicate key words (arrange respectively to importance) 5 words only at the end of abstract. (Paper published in English, no need to have Thai version)
Introduction: present important problem, related review paper and objective of research.
Methods: should be concise and sequent including experiment unit, data recorded technique, experiment design, appropriate statistical analysis and also clearly specify place and time of the research.
Results: sum up the result of the research; avoid repetition with text in table or figures (if any) and use English Captions for all tables and figures.
Discussions: (may be included in results part) should include principle findings of the research compared with others’ research, problems or arguments, suggestions for future research and recommendation for application.
Conclusions: (may be included in discussion part) should not duplicate with results, but should sum up conform to objectives.
Acknowledgements: (if any) for assistance or supporter in the research (not be research associate) funding source or others.
References: please write according to no.7
- In text citation: Using Name-year system e.g. Sak and Sitt (1999) report that….. or (Sak and Sitt, 1999) if has more 2 people must use Sak et al. (1999) report that…. or Smith et al. (1999) if has many references in the same subject must use (Sak and Sitt, 1999; Peter, 2002; Smith, 2005) by arranged in order according to published year and Thai before English (In case of Thai language referenced).
- Tables and figures should be inserted in the main text with one line space and use only English language. Footnote; using number to show explanations e.g. 1/, 2/. Caption of tables are placed above the table e.g. Table 1 Genetic parameter estimations of…. Captions of figures are paced under the figure e.g. Figure 1 The relationship between…. Using “*” or “**” for P<0.05 and P<0.01 to show the statistically significance, respectively. Units used in the tables of figures (as well as in the text) must be in matrix unit and abbreviation e.g. 100%, 10 mg/ml. If means are used as well as P-value, standard error of mean (SEM) must be presented.
- References used in the main text and bibliography that use to support the paper but not cited in the text, have to write as following:
8.1 Arrange in order, Thai before English (If write in Thai), alphabetically and amount of writer order, if one writer published paper in the same year, please arrange according to year.
8.2 Referring journal; if journals have abbreviations, please use them.
