Factors affecting the use of the DOAE Farmbook Application of Farmers in Nong Suang Subdistrict, Wihan Daeng District, Saraburi Province

Abstract

The main objective of this research was to study factors affecting the use of DOAE farmbook of farmers in Nong Suang sub-district, Wihan Daeng district, Saraburi province. The population of this study was 348 farmers in Nong Suang sub-district, Wihan Daeng district, Saraburi province who registered as farmers with the department of Agricultural Extension. The sample size of 187 people was determined by using Taro Yamane formula with the error value of 0.05 data were collected by using interview forms and were analyzed by using statistics such as frequency, percentage, minimum value, maximum value, mean, standard deviation, ranking, and multiple regression analysis. The results indicated that farmers were the average age of 53.82 years old, had an average experience in farmerbook registration of 7.08 years, had the average agricultural area of 26.47 Rai. In the year 2023, the average agricultural income was 214,747.59 baht, and had the average expense of 102,135.51 Baht. 49.20% of farmers had knowledge about DOAE farmbook modification through digital farmbook application at the high level. 39.04% of farmers  had the frequency in the use of farmbook application at the moderate level (mean= 9.51) but had the opinion about the easiness in the use of DOAE farmbook application at the low level. Factors affecting the use of DOAE farming include 4 variables that were statistically significant level of 0.01 such as experience in farmbook registration, average income, and knowledge in the use of farmbook application. there is a positive relationship and the level of easiness in the use of farmbook application there is a negative relationship. At statistically significant level of 0.05 there are 2 variables such as age there is a negative relationship and agricultural area there is a positive relationship.
