The Effects of Constructive Play Activity Provision with Drawing by Utlizing Reused Materials on Creative Thinking Skills of Young Children

The objective of this research was to investigate the effect of Constructive Play Activity Provision with Drawing by Utlizing Reused Materials on Creative Thinking Skills of Young Children. The participants of this study consisted of 27 male and female young learners aged from 4-5 years, studying in the second semester of kindergarten 2, in the 2018 academic year, at Anuban BanBung School Chonburi. The instruments were 16 lesson plans, duration 8 weeks, 2 days a week. In order to study effects of constructive play activity provision with drawing by utlizing reused materials on creative thinking skills of young children, the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking Figural Form A was implemented. Data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
Result indicated that young children who participated in constructive play activity provision with drawing by utlizing reused materials had higher scores on creative thinking skills after the experiment than before the experiment in all aspects.
