Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to develop an innovation to improve illiteracy for primary school students in Huai Krot Sub-district, Sankhaburi District, Chainat Province; 2) to compare the students' learning achievement before and after using the illiteracy innovation for primary school students; and 3) to study students' satisfaction with learning by us in illiteracy innovation for primary school students. The sample group used in this research was comprised of 2 school principals from Wat Chan School and Wat Bampen Bun School, 5 teachers from Wat Bampenboon School, 5 parents from both schools totaling 10 people, and 5 researchers from Chandrakasem Rajabhat University.

The results showed that: 1) the assessment of illiteracy innovations integrating cooperation between home and school from experts was found to be at be at a high level in all issues (M = 4.80, SD = .678). 2) Efficiency index reflecting the use of illiteracy innovations was at 0.6851 meaning that the participants had improve 68.51% of their knowledge. In addition, 3) students were found to be satisfied with innovations to solve the problem of illiteracy and writing, integrated cooperation between home and school at a high level in every item, both overall and in each aspect.
