Phenomenon Based Learning: Imparting Knowledge from the University of Helsinki and Aurora School Espoo in Finland

Phenomenal based learning process is a method of educational management by focusing on children as the center. This learning process will apply the situation of realities as the starting point for learning which consists of multidisciplinary that will stimulate the children capability to integrate knowledges within disciplinary and interdisciplinary. Regarding the learning process by such method, the children will combine their knowledges in order to study and understand the phenomenal by making questions, inquiring, answering questions, and self problem solving by different set of practices so that they gain the extensive, profound and focused knowledge. This learning process will help the learners develop necessary life skills and capacity to understand the multidimensional world reality and will be able to integrate and adapt themselves to the different situations, solve the problems, accept and respect different ways of thinking as well as live in harmony and understanding. This education management method is highly suitable and effective to support children to grow as good global citizens and to create sustainable development both to themselves and society.
