Keywords:
path analysis, organic rice production, Organic Rice DistributionAbstract
The objectives of this research were to study: 1) a structural equation model of factors affecting decisions making for organic rice production and 2) problems and obstacles in organic rice production and distribution. The quantitative was use in the study. The data were collected from 140 households who produced the organic rice in Chiang Mai. The data was analyzed by means of descriptive statistics and path analysis. It was found that the most important factor affecting the decision making on organic rice production was promoting. Moreover, price, problem, social and personal factors, respectively had an influence on the decision. It indicated that problems and obstacles in the production and distribution were in a medium level. Hence, the decision should focus on promoting through training continuously.
