Development of infographic pattern for knowledge in waste-water treatment from dyeing process of community enterprise, chonn

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the developing process of iInfographic for knowledge in waste-water treatment from dyeing process of community enterprise, and learning outcome of infographic. The scope of this study focused in the community enterprises in Chonnabot district, Khonkaen province. Background information about the content of waste-water treatment system, and the need for Infographic design were collected by interviewing 5 people of 5 group leaders and 2 officers of Industrial Promotion Region 5. This information was used as the initial process of producing infographic. ADDIE Model was used in the process of producing and developing infographic. The learning outcome was evaluated in 60
people from the 5 dyeing community enterprise.

The result of this study showed that 1) Infographic would be 3 pieces of A1-size. which were big enough to be read and perceived. The content of the infographics were about the impact comparison between the with and without the waste-water treatment system. Also included details about the processes of water quality testing and the components of the waste-water treatment system. 2) The pre-test and post-test showed that the group members of dyeing community enterprise gained more knowledge after using infographic, which was significantly difference at .01 levels.
