1. Ethics for research studies involving animals
All research related to the use of animals for scientific work should be considered by the committee to Supervise the Raising and Use of Animals by the agency under which it belongs (KSC). The original article must include a statement showing that it has complied with the regulations set by the NCSC in the Materials and Methods Section. However, if the agency does not have such a committee, please attach a letter certifying from the head of the agency that they have complied with the regulations regarding the use of animals for scientific work which is sufficient for publication. However, author(s) may face risks associated with using published articles to request academic designation or conflict with other relevant regulations of their own country.
2. Ethics for research studies involving human subjects
Related research or research on humans should have a human research ethics certificate from the affiliated agency. The original article must contain a statement showing that the rules and regulations outlined in the study methods section have been followed. However, if the author(s) does not have such a certificate. There may be risks associated with using published articles to request academic designation or conflicts with other applicable regulations.
3. Ethics for research studies involving common native plant species
Wild plants or any part of such plants that fall under the Plant Varieties Protection Act, B.E. 2542, Section 52 and Section 53 for research work that uses common native plant species. Wild plants or any part, thereof that fall under Section 52 and Section 53 should apply for permission from the Plant Variety Protection Office, Department of Agriculture. The original work must contain a statement showing that the specified regulations have been complied with in the study methods section. However, if the author(s) has not taken such action. There may be risks associated with using published articles to request academic designation or conflicts with other applicable regulations.
