Communication Patterns Supporting Appropriate Characteristics of Students in Faculty of Agricultural Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang

Abstract
This research’s objective was to study and analyze students’ appropriate characteristics according to Framework for Higher Education Qualifications of the National Higher Education Commission 2009 with the cooperation of employer teachers and students, and to study communication pattern supporting appropriate characteristics of students in Faculty of Agricultural Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in both qualitative and quantitative methods. The research’s results indicated that students of Faculty of Agricultural Technology should have characteristics according to Framework for Higher Education Qualifications of the National Higher Education Commission in 5 aspects: 1) Ethics and Morality 2) Knowledge 3) Cognitive skill 4) Interpersonal skill and Responsibility 5) Numerical analysis Communication and Information Technology skill. Each aspect contained sub skills which led to different goal. For example, in Ethics and Morality aspect, students should have sub skills, in priority, as 1) Have integrity and honesty 2) Have discipline, self and social responsibility 3) Recognize Professional Ethics 4) Respect other people’s right and a good listener and 5) Respect and follow rules and regulations of institution and society. Moreover, students should have additional characteristics such as Curriculum Proficiency, Personality, Creativity and Tolerance. Communication Patterns Supporting Appropriate Characteristics of Students in Faculty of Agricultural Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, should be integrative leading to multiple communicative methods guiding appropriate characteristics to the main target group: students, and sub target group: Faculty of Agricultural Technology’s personnel, employers, student’s parents, and common people.
