This academic article aims to draw lessons from integrating knowledge of multitrack audio recording techniques and video production for the purpose of disseminating and promoting creative musical activities. The case study is “The Next Chapter Concert”, a musical performance by students of the Master of Music Program in Creative Music Technology, Chandrakasem Rajabhat University.
The integration emphasizes the application of theories and practices from two core courses; 1) Advanced Audio Mixing Techniques, used for managing and enhancing the quality of audio recorded from multiple sources, and 2) Master Music Skills 1, which covers performance skills, management, and musical content delivery. The objective of this integration is to create professional-quality promotional content in terms of both sonic clarity and visual presentation, ensuring effective engagement with the target audience.
The synthesis of complex multitrack audio recording techniques with digital video editing and distribution has tangibly strengthened students' technical and collaborative skills. Furthermore, this process serves as a learning model that can be effectively applied to the production of promotional media for music and arts in various other contexts. It demonstrates the success of an integrated learning approach designed to meet the demands of the modern creative industries.
