ผลของการเสริมใบกระท่อมแห้งและยีสต์ (<I>Candida tropicalis</I> KKU20) ในอาหารผสมสูตรรวมต่อ ปริมาณการกินได้ กระบวนการหมัก และประชากรจุลินทรีย์ในกระเพาะรูเมนของแพะ

บทคัดย่อ

การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของการเสริมยีสต์ (Candida tropicalis KKU20) (yeast, Y) 2 ระดับ (0 และ 0.5 กรัมต่อกิโลกรัมวัตถุแห้ง และใบกระท่อมแห้ง (dried Kratom leaves, DKTL) 2 ระดับ (0 และ 4.44 กรัมต่อกิโลกรัมวัตถุแห้ง) ในอาหารผสมสูตรรวมต่อปริมาณการกินได้ กระบวนการหมัก และประชากรจุลินทรีย์ในกระเพาะรูเมนของแพะ โดยศึกษาในแพะน้ำหนักเฉลี่ย 20 ± 0.13 กิโลกรัม โดยจัดทรีทเมนต์แบบ 2 x 2 แฟคทอเรียลในแผนการทดลองแบบ 4 x 4 จัตุรัสละติน แพะได้รับอาหารผสมสูตรรวมที่มีระดับยีสต์ และใบกระท่อมแห้ง ในสูตรอาหาร 4 สูตร T1= 0Y-0DKTL, T2 = 0Y- 4.44DKTL, T3 = 0.5Y- 0DKTL และ T4 = 0.5Y- 4.44DKTL ตามลำดับ ให้แพะได้รับอาหารผสมสูตรรวมอย่างเต็มที่ ผลการทดลองพบว่า แพะกลุ่มที่ไม่เสริมยีสต์ (0 g/kg DM Y) มีค่าปริมาณการกินได้ทั้งหมด (g/d and g/kg BW 0.75) และความเข้มข้นของกรดโพรพิโอเนตต่ำกว่ากลุ่มอื่น (P < 0.05) ยกเว้นมีค่าอะซิเตทและสัดส่วนของอะซิเตทและรวมกับบิวทีเรตต่อโพรพิโอเนตสูงกว่า (P < 0.05) และกลุ่มที่เสริม 4.44 g/kg DM ใบกระท่อมแห้ง มีค่าประชากรโปรโตซัวต่ำกว่าเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับกลุ่มที่ไม่เสริมใบกระท่อมแห้ง (P < 0.01) ขณะที่ค่าแอมโมเนีย-ไนโตรเจน และประชากรจุลินทรีย์ (แบคทีเรีย และประชากรสปอร์เชื้อรา) มีค่าไม่แตกต่างกัน (P > 0.05) จากผลการทดลองนี้สรุปได้ว่า สามารถใช้ยีสต์ (0.5 กรัมต่อกิโลกรัมวัตถุแห้ง) ร่วมกับใบกระท่อมแห้ง (4.44 กรัมต่อกิโลกรัมวัตถุแห้ง) ในอาหารผสมสูตรรวมของแพะ
